EXIT TITLE II and III CYCLE

Master's degree: master of metallurgy, master of metallic materials, master of non-metallic materials, master of chemical technology.

PHD studies: doctor of technical sciences (with an indication of the scientific field).

Curricula are aligned with the ECTAS system. The study was conceived based on contemporary European experiences of studying metallurgy and materials with more than 50 years of tradition. Now you have the opportunity to participate in the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. metallurgy, chemical industry and industry of metallic and non-metallic materials. Today, our students work in Bosnia and Herzegovina's world-famous companies such as ArcelorMittal Zenica, Aluminij Mostar, IGM Visoko, Tvornica cementa Kakanj (HeidelbergCement group), Natron Hayat and numerous other domestic and foreign companies.

Note: At the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, you can study in the first and second cycle of studies (undergraduate and master's studies) as a regular student financed by the Founder and a regular self-financing student.

More than 120 years of tradition of iron and steel production in these areas is the basis for the existence of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology and for the study of materials.

In the course of its existence, the Faculty, thanks to the engagement of a wide structure of its own scientific and professional personnel, has expanded the spectrum of studies and research to other types of materials and technologies.

In this sense, the training of young staff is carried out. Symposia, round tables, consultations etc. are held continuously, with the aim of analyzing current issues in the field of production and processing of metals and non-metals as well as other technologies in our region and the world.

The study plan includes general subjects, the programs of which are harmonized with the programs of other technical faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to general subjects, which are studied in the first two years of study, professional subjects are also defined, the programs of which determine the profile of an engineer depending on the study program being enrolled.
