The Open Day of the University of Zenica was held

An Open Day was held today at the Campus of the University of Zenica. In the beautiful surroundings of the Campus, about five hundred high school students from the entire Zenica-Doboj Canton had the opportunity to learn about the conditions of studying at our university, visit laboratories and classrooms, and talk with fellow students and teachers.

This year, the University of Zenica undertook a series of promotional activities so that high school students could get as much information as possible about the study programs they can choose. As part of these activities, our teams visited secondary schools in Zenica-Doboj and Central Bosnia Cantons, and a team of teachers also visited Novi Pazar. However, the central event took place today in the Campus.

A suitable program was organized in the Campus area with an address by Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković, Rector of the University of Zenica and the presentation of all the faculties and management of the University, and the address of the most successful students Larisa Mahmić, Prof. and Amina Hasanović, MA Law, as well as the President of the Student Union, Faris Preljević. The good atmosphere was completed with musical numbers by Emina Bajtarević, one of the most successful students of the University of Zenica and students of the Zenica High School of Music, as well as the association Notica.

"This is the first time after the pandemic that we are organizing an event like this and presenting the entire University for the first time. We provided transportation and refreshments for five hundred announced potential students from the Zenica-Doboj Canton," said Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica.

In his address to future students, the Rector presented the most interesting study programs of each faculty and announced the promotion of the first graduates of General Medicine studies in October this year, as well as the enrollment of the first generation in the Physical Education and Sports study program at the Faculty of Philosophy. The rector invited the graduates to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina and choose one of the many study programs at the University of Zenica.

Promotional activities of the University of Zenica continue, and tomorrow all faculties will have presentations at the High School and Faculty Fair in Tešanj.
