OPEN CORNER OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENIKA
Today, a corner of the Republic of Indonesia was opened at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica. The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Her Excellency Ms. Amelia Achmad Yani, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prof. Dr.Sc. Damir Kukić, Rector of the University of Zenica and Prof. Ph.D. Harun Hodžić, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica.
"By opening this corner, we wanted to bring Indonesia closer to the citizens and students of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, this means improving cooperation between universities in Indonesia and the University of Zenica. Currently, there are four students from Achmad Yani University from Indonesia at the University of Zenica who will spend a month here, and at the same time, this is only the beginning of the development of exchange and mobility of teachers and students between these two universities and our two countries. Already next year, we expect that more students will come from Indonesia, as well as that students and teachers of the University of Zenica will be able to travel to Indonesia. All hand-made items placed in the hall of the faculty come from different islands of Indonesia, and we expect to complete the collection with new items soon," Her Excellency Mrs. Amelia Achmad Yani said.
"The opening of this corner is really a nice event for the University of Zenica. Thanks to Her Excellency, we will complete a beautiful picture of our faculty with this corner. This is the first time that one of the universities has received something like this," said Prof. Dr.Sc. Harun Hodžić, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
