Promotion of the project "Celebration of the FBiH Science Day"

At the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Zenica, on March 20, 2025, three workshops were held on the topics "Analysis of the microstructure of metallic materials", Occupational safety - Impact of physical hazards on the working environment and  "Determination of NaCl content by standard method for fruits and vegetables”. The workshop was attended by students of the Technical High School from Zenica, from the Metallurgical Technician, Architectural Technician, Road Traffic Technician and Electrical Technician of Computer Engineering and Automation. The workshops were organized by the Association of Students of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences together with teachers and associates of the faculty of the same name as part of the project “Celebrating Science Day of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina” funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science. The main goal of this project is to bring science and technology closer to and make it more interesting and understandable for high school students. Also, through this project, we want to introduce high school students to the activities carried out at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and what it is like to study at this faculty and point out the values and importance of continuing education after completing secondary education. The workshop leaders were final year students of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Ajna Bektaš, Alida Kusić, Amina Šišić, Benjamin Spahić, Avdispahić Dejna and Kulačić Ajla with the help of professor Almaida Gigović-Gekić and assistant Zahide Begović. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the management Public Institution of Technical Schools in Zenica, director Hadžisalihović Maja and professors Imamović Senija, Selma Karalić-Plaćo and Mirela Krivdić at successfully implemented workshops.
