Report on the implementation of the student and teacher exchange program within the ERASMUS+ program between the University of Saarbrucken and the University of Zenica
In the academic year 2016/2017, the student and teacher exchange program within the ERASMUS+ program between the University of Saarbrucken and the University of Zenica was successfully implemented. As part of the mentioned exchange program, the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials UNZE also participated. During the winter semester of the academic year 2016/2017, Janos Funk stayed at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials as a guest student with the obligation to follow classes and take exams at the end of the semester. During the summer semester of 2016/2017, FMM students Vardo Emina and Sejdinoski Ammar stayed at the University of Saarbrucken at the Department of Materials Engineering, where they had the obligation to listen to and pass certain exams and participate in research projects within the practical part preparation of their graduation theses. Research in which the students were involved was in the field of modeling and characterization of metal materials ("Different aspects of material modeling by deep rolling", and "Comparison of different steel types by using 3D tomography").
In addition to the exchange of students, the ERASMUS+ program includes visiting professors from the University of Zenica at related departments of the University of Saarbrucken. The visiting professor at the Materials Engineering Department of the University of Saarbrucken, in front of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials, was Prof. Dr.Sc. Hasan Avdušinović. According to the rules of the exchange program, Professor Avdušinović held an intensive course in the field of iron castings for students of all three study cycles with the obligation to take an exam upon completion of the course.
