SECOND DAY OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE WITHIN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SMEQA PROJECT
Today, the second day of the "International Conference on Key Principles and Elements for Models of External Evaluation in Institutional and Program Accreditation" is being held at the University of Banja Luka, organized as part of the SMEQA project.
In the first part of the conference, representatives of the University of Mostar, Luciana Boban and Monija Malešević, addressed the attendees and presented the proposed conclusions prepared on the basis of the previously completed Analysis, which relates to the quality assurance system in BiH. The conclusions are grouped into conclusions relating to the activities of the Agency in BiH (HEA) and the competent educational authorities (NOV), and a proposal for conclusions relating to amendments to the Framework Law on Higher Education in BiH.
In the second part of the conference, a discussion was held on the proposed conclusions on improving the key principles and elements of the external evaluation model in BiH, and a meeting of the Consortium was held at which they were adopted.
A meeting of the Quality Committee is also scheduled for today, at which the members of the Committee will be addressed by a representative of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Dr. Goran Janjić, who will speak about the review of the Quality Report and the key stages of the project so far, as well as the activities of the Quality Committee members for the coming period.
The final word at the conference will be given by representatives of the University of Zenica, who are also the coordinators of this project, when future activities within the project will be discussed.
