THE EXCELLENT RESULTS CONTINUE - SUCCESSES OF THE STUDENTS OF THE MECHANICAL FACULTY AT MACHINERY

This year, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica also participated in the 59th Mechanical Fair, which was held in Bečići, Montenegro, from April 30. until 4/5/2019. years. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Niš, Kraljevo, Kragujevac, Banja Luka, Mostar, Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, Skopje, Trebinje, Podgorica, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Zenica took part in this year's Machinijada. Students competed in knowledge and in sports.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica was represented by: assistant Šišić Nedim (physical education assistant), and students from the below-mentioned competitions in the field of knowledge and sports:

• Sports disciplines: football: Adnan Agić, Mahmut Bahtić, Muhamed Berbić, Adnan Hadžić, Kovačević Ibrahim, Kusić Said, Mujkanović Mevludin, chess: Marković Irma (coordinator of Mashinijade in front of MFZE).
• Knowledge competitions: Mechanics: Čukle Benjamin, Rijad Jusufspahić; Mathematics 1: Anadin Čišić, Belmin Šehić; Mathematics 2: Musić Elvis; Neimarlija Amer; Machine elements: Haračić Ishak, Kubat Ajla; Material resistance: Fejzović Senahid; Zolota Zakir.

In knowledge competitions, students participated in the subjects Resistance of materials, Mechanical elements and Mechanics. The 8th place was won in the Resistance of Materials and Mechanical Elements, while the 4th place was won in the Mechanics subject, with a difference of a couple of points to the 3rd place.

In the field of sports competitions, our students participated in men's volleyball, men's football, and men's and women's chess. Matches were played with faculty students from Podgorica 6:0, with faculty students from Niš in the quarterfinals 3:0, in the semi-finals with faculty students from Belgrade 5:1, and in the final a match was played with faculty students from Kraljevo, i.e. the gold football cup was won with a score of 6:4. In women's chess, our representatives had one less board, and with one less board they won 5th place. There were a lot of teams in men's chess, and they played in two groups, and they won 3rd place in that category, but they did not make it to the semi-finals, because the first two places from each group went to the semi-finals.

We kindly thank our students for the achieved results, especially in the field of adequate and beautiful presentation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the entire University of Zenica. Also, we would like to thank our respected colleagues Prof. Dr. Aleksa Stanković, and his colleague Prof. Dr. Nedimo Šišić, and others responsible for the achieved results and overall success. We would like to thank our colleague Irma Marković, who was the leader of the entire group in front of the students, as well as all the students who took part in this year's Machinijada.
