The Ambassador of the Republic of France visited the University of Zenica

The University of Zenica continues to cooperate with the representatives of the embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on this occasion Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica, together with representatives of the University's management, hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, NJ. "I am very happy to be here today and I am coming on the occasion of the French presidency of the European Union. I am at the University of Zenica for the first time and I saw that there are great opportunities for cooperation, which I am very happy about. We talked about the possibilities of technical and primarily scientific cooperation with universities in France and especially with the University of Poitiers, but I also suggested cooperation with other universities that have a department of languages of countries from the Western Balkans, with which cooperation could certainly be achieved," she said. is H.E. Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica, expressed his satisfaction with today's visit and said that "this is an opportunity for us, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of France, to strengthen and deepen cooperation with certain universities in France." I must say that our delegation has just returned from an international exchange with a university in France where we had the mobility of our students. So we already have good cooperation, and this is an opportunity to deepen that cooperation with other universities. We also received the ambassador's recommendation with which universities we should establish cooperation."

After the meeting in the Rector's Cabinet, the ambassador held a lecture for students where she spoke about the presidency of the Republic of France in the European Union, and about the important role that young people play in the path of Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to the European Union.
