The Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica is again among the best!

From March 15-20, 2022, the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica hosted 14 teams from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina who were preparing for the world competition in Zenica from the international commercial arbitration Vis Moot to be held in Vienna. The guests were welcomed by the dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, Prof. dr. Larisa Velić, Mr. Ryan Miller from the US Embassy and Miss Shamiram Lazar from CLDP. The week started with training led by prof. Ph.D. Zlatan Meškić (Prince Sultan University), prof. Helmut Ruessman (Saarland University), Arne Fuchs, Nevena Jevremović (Association of Arbitrators), Fahir Brodlija (GIZ and International University of Sarajevo) and Amina Hasanović (Faculty of Law, University of Zenica). After the training, on March 18, a large conference on "The Intersection of International Arbitration and Sustainable Development" was held at the Evropa Hotel in Sarajevo, attended by numerous experts in the field of investment and commercial arbitration. The week ended with the preparatory competition Zenica Vis Pre-Moot 2022, which was held live in the premises of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, and a total of 14 teams from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated. . The first place was taken by the University of Pristina, the second place was taken by the University of Saarland, and the team from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica with contestants Zerina Spahić, Emina Hrnjić, Nirvana Jašarević and trainers asst. Amina Hasanović and Medina Šehić took third place.
