At the international VIS pre-moot competition in Belgrade, in which 80 teams from all over the world participated, including teams from Brazil, USA, China, Russia, Germany, etc., students of the Faculty of Law in Zenica won a historic fifth place.

Students Arnela Maglić, Igor RImac, Anela Šaran and Zerina Spahić with prof. With Zlatan Meškić as coach, they achieved convincing victories against teams from Moscow (Russia), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Graz (Austria) and Pennsylvania (USA). It is by far the best result ever achieved by teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The international competition in Belgrade is the largest preparatory competition for the world championship in arbitration law, which starts in Vienna in three days, and in which students of the Faculty of Law in Zenica are participating for the third time. It is a championship in which over 350 teams from all over the world are participating this year. The most notable is the victory of the Faculty of Law in Zenica against the team from Sao Paulo, which was a semi-finalist at the Vis moot competition in Vienna last year.

The overall result at the competition in Belgrade is the sum of the individual points that the arbitrators give to the team members who competed in the role of the plaintiff and the defendant in the simulation of a dispute before the arbitration court, so that the students of the Faculty of Law in Zenica achieved fifth place with four wins and no losses. The students of the Faculty of Law in Zenica are leaving for Vienna tomorrow, and on the wings of a great success from Belgrade, they hope for a good result at the largest competition for law students in the world, the VIS moot competition in Vienna.

The participation of students of the Faculty of Law in Zenica in Vis moot competitions and pre-competitions in Mostar, Sofia, Belgrade and Vienna was supported by the American CLDP (Commercial Law Development Program), the German GIZ (Gesellschaft für internationale rechtliche Zusammenarbeit), Ze-Do Kanton and the University of Zenica.
