THE PROMOTION OF THE DOCTOR OF SCIENCE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA WAS HELD

Today at the University of Zenica, the sixteenth Doctor of Science Promotion of the University of Zenica was held. In honor of the doctor of legal sciences, the following were promoted: Mrs. Dženana Radnočić, Mr. Franjo-Krešimir Šenjug, Mr. Davor Bubalo and Mr. Ramo Ljevaković.

"This is one of the most solemn days for every university, for the academic community and society in general. Of course, it is a big ceremony and a big event for our university. Unfortunately, due to the epidemic caused by the corona virus, we had to organize it in an unusual way, but we still tried to organize the promotion as a kind of celebration. Today we are promoting four PhDs and they really represent, in my humble opinion, some new strength, some new energy that is necessary for our Bosnian society so that it can change in a positive sense," said Prof. Dr.Sc. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica.

On behalf of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and on his own behalf, he also sent congratulations to the promoted doctors of science, Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Spahija Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Zenica-Doboj Canton. On this occasion, Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Spahija Kozlić pointed out that the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton provides full support to the University of Zenica, and in the past few months approval was given for the launch of seven study programs.

"Today I was promoted to Doctor of Legal Sciences at the University of Zenica and it is a great pleasure, both for me personally, and I believe for the University of Zenica and the wider community. I would tell all students to use their scientific curiosity, to take advantage of every opportunity and gain as much knowledge as possible, and to develop their skills. This is the only way we can put ourselves in the role of sustainable development of society. Knowledge is a resource that, in my opinion, is the most important for the development of society, and each of us should keep that in mind," said Assoc. Ph.D. Dženana Radončić.
