Participation in the October International Conference in the field of metallurgy and mining - Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade

In the period from October 18 to 21, 2017, as part of the International October Conference in the field of metallurgy and mining, which is traditionally organized for the 49th time by the Technical Faculty in Bor of the University of Belgrade, the fourth International Conference of Students of Technical Sciences was held. The UNZE Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology was the co-organizer of the student conference. In addition to the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, co-organizers were also the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, the Faculty of Metallurgy from Sisak, University of Zagreb and the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia. Students of our faculty took an active part in the conference in the form of 11 papers that they presented in poster and two oral sections. The 'Dragana Živković' awards for the best student presentations within the oral sections were won by our students Adela Delić with the work 'Influence of petrographic characteristics of coal on the strength of metallurgical coke' in the first section and Emina Vardo and Ammar Sejdinoski with the work 'Austempered ductile iron' ' in the second section.

The participants at the October international conference in front of the teachers were the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr.Sc. Ilhan Bušatlić, vice dean, Prof. Ph.D. Hasan Avdušinović, Prof. Ph.D. Sulejman Muhamedagić and assistant professor, Ph.D. Nadira Bušatlić.
