The Scientific and Educational Council was informed about Ad 5, item on the Agenda, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alica Arnaut, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alica Arnaut, Dean of the Faculty, introduced the teachers and associates of the Faculty of Philosophy to the work of the Center for Gender Equality of the University of Zenica. The Dean reported on the work of the Center for Gender Equality of the University of Zenica, drawing attention to its activities to date, such as training for staff of individual organizational units and the successfully held Summer School. It was also announced that the conference “Culture of Memory and Gender: Gender-Based Violence in War and the Continuation of Misogynistic Projects in the Post-War Period in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Region” will be held in December 2024 at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica as part of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign.
