UNZE AT AI NURECC PLUS CONFERENCE

On May 24, 2023. year, a conference was held in Sarajevo (Holiday hotel) called 'AI-NURECC PLUS ' – HIGH-LEVEL CONFERENCE ON CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND AQUATIC RESOURCES: HOW TO MANAGE INLAND AND COASTAL WATERS IN A SMART AND CIRCULAR WAY.

Given the fact that the President of UniAdrion (Association of Universities of the Adriatic-Ionian area) is the rector prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković, University of Zenica had the opportunity to take part in this Conference through the introductory speech held by the vice-rector for scientific research, prof. Ph.D.Sc. Fuad Hadžikadunić, who pointed out the topicality and importance of the theme of the meeting, the role of the social and academic community in it, but also the offer of the University of Zenica for cooperation in international projects and activities within the theme of the Conference.

The task of this part of the Conference was to exchange the latest information in the field of water resources management, the biggest challenges EUSAIR countries face in the protection of water resources. Solutions and projects were presented as examples of good practice within the application of the circular economy concept.

The AI-NURECC Plus Project (Adriatic Ionian Network of Universities, Regions, Chambers of Commerce and Cities Initiative) is implemented as part of the joint activities of FAIC - Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Cities, UniAdrion, Forum AIC, within which this Conference was realized .
