The delegation of the University of Zenica headed by the rector prof. Ph.D. sc. Dževad Zečić, she stayed from 15 to 18 December 2016. in a scientific and professional visit to the Rectorate of the University of Dubrovnik and the Maritime Faculty. The delegation of the University of Zenica was hosted on behalf of the University of Dubrovnik by Associate Professor Dr.Sc. Martin Lazar, vice-rector for international cooperation and science, and assistant professor, Ph.D. Nebojša Stojčić, Head of the Department of Economics and Business Economics. After the introductory words of satisfaction of the representatives of both Universities for this meeting and the opportunity to develop further cooperation, the Rector of the University of Zenica briefly introduced the University of Zenica, and the respected hosts the University of Dubrovnik. Also, a number of proposals were presented on how cooperation with the University of Dubrovnik, i.e. its faculties as members, could be achieved. The possibility of applying for joint actions via the ERASMUS+ network, CEEPUS, etc. was particularly emphasized.
After the meeting at the Rector's Office of the University of Dubrovnik, a visit was made to the Maritime Faculty, where Assoc. Ph.D. Matko Bupić, head of the Maritime Department, together with his colleagues showed the Zenica delegation the premises of the Maritime Faculty, and the sophisticated equipment used in the training of students and ship captains, especially the maritime and marine engineering simulator. Also, possible directions of joint cooperation in the field of activities of certain faculties of a technical nature were presented.
