Visit to Yeditepe University in Istanbul

In the period from November 6 to 10, 2023, representatives of the University of Zenica consisting of: Prof. Dr.Sc. Hasan Avdušinović, vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance, Prof. Ph.D. Adnan Mujkanović vice dean for scientific research and senior laboratory technician Amir Muslić, B.Sc. Eng. with the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences visited Yedipe University in Istanbul. The host for the representatives of the University of Zenica was prof. Ph.D. Fatma Yeşim Ekinci, vice chancellor of Yeditepe University. In addition to very interesting discussions regarding future cooperation in the field of academic exchange and scientific research work, the signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of exchange of academic staff and students should also be highlighted as an important fact. As part of the visit, representatives of the University of Zenica visited the laboratories of the Center for Materials and Nanotechnologies, where they had the opportunity to learn about teaching techniques and methods of performing practical exercises for students. In addition, a series of meetings was held in which, among others, Prof. Dr. Taner Akbay, head of the Center, Ahmet Turan, deputy head of the Center, prof. Ph.D. Hatice Kübra Akben, prof. Ph.D. Nebahat Aral Yılmaz, Prof. dr. Z. Cansu Canbek Özdil etc. The meetings discussed the possibilities of joint participation in scientific research projects, publication of papers and participation in conferences.
