07.05.2018. CIP, MF AND PTF UNZE: BUSINESS DAY FOR STUDENTS IN CENTRAL BOSNIA CANTON

The second big business day in the summer semester of the 2017/18 academic year for the students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic was Monday, May 7, 2018, when they visited 3 business systems in the framework of classes at the Department of Industrial Engineering and CIM Systems and the Department of Maintenance SBK. It started at 8:45 a.m. with a visit to the business system of TISAL Busovač, where the students had the opportunity to see two different but complementary production programs. In the first, which produces chemical products for hygiene, they saw the way of production of different types of detergents and chemical elements, and in the second, modern production of plastic elements for both the chemical industry and consumer products (agriculture, households, etc.). The host, Mahir Mujić, director of TISAL with a large team of associates, explained the concept of development of this company, the current state of technology and investment, the concept of maintenance and marketing that the company uses. This was followed by a visit to another business system from the massive furniture industry segment, TAMEX. After the welcoming address of one of the owners and directors, Mr. Ibreljić Zikreta was followed by a more than two-hour visit (11:00-13:15) that started from the primary processing department, through the dryer department to the final plants, where the students were presented with the processing of complex elements of massif beds and tables on CNC multi-axis centers. The end of the visit was marked by a tour of the exhibition hall, where there was a conversation with the hosts and a short break for a meal and refreshments for the students. The third business system whose tour started at 1:45 p.m. was MS WOOD from Fojnica, where the students were hosted by the chief engineer for product quality, Mr. Fikret Sabic. In this one of the most respectable BH furniture manufacturers, the students had the opportunity to see two different production concepts - the mass production of chairs for well-known global sales chains as well as the production of very luxurious and specific products of interior elements and household elements. In a conversation with the hosts in Tamex as well as with the director of HRM MS Wood, Mr. Mirsad Softić and Eng.Sakib Sinanović, manager of development and technical preparation, presented the new study program Design and Technologies in Woodworking (DTD) at MF UNZE, as well as the GIZ-RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of woodworking in Central Bosnia.
