Announcement of the 5th Scientific and Professional Conference "Maintenance 2018", 10-12. May 2018, Hotel Zenica

On the occasion of organizing and holding the 5th International Scientific-Professional Conference "Maintenance 2018" on Monday, May 7, 2018, a press conference was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica.

On this occasion, prof. emeritus Safet Brdarević, president of the Scientific Board and prof. dr. sc. addressed the journalists. Sabahudin Jašarević, president of the Organizational Committee and president of the Society of Maintainers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

5. The international scientific and professional conference "Maintenance 2018" will be held in the Zenica hotel from May 10-12, 2018. The Scientific Committee of the Conference accepted 47 scientific and professional papers of participants from five Southern European countries, which will be presented during the Conference and published in the proceedings.

On Thursday, May 10, a reception for participants and registration is planned, while the second day of the Conference, Friday, May 11, is reserved for the working part during which scientific works will be presented in several sessions. Also, during the break, the Assembly of the Society of Maintainers of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held. Workshops will be held on Saturday, May 12, the third day of the conference.

This conference is extremely important for people who deal with this field of science, namely people from the fields of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, construction and numerous other technical sciences, and it represents an opportunity for all of them to receive information about new knowledge from certain fields related to maintenance , that is, everything that has been done in the past period, as well as to show the results of certain research from an academic aspect.

The organizers of this Conference are the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica and the Association of Maintenance Workers of BiH with the help of sponsors, namely: Cementara Kakanj, ArcelorMIttal Zenica and OLMA Ljubljana.
