EU ProLocal Academy opened
On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica was officially opened EU ProLocal Academy within Competitive Business Based Export and Training Service Centre (COBETS) of the project EU ProLocal program for local self-government and economic development financed by the European Union and the Government of Germany, and implemented by the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ),
The primary goal of this project is to improve access to the market for companies from the wood processing sector. Within the framework of the EU ProLocal Academy, trainings will be organized for representatives of the management of partner companies. Challenges in the field of financing, liquidity, country selection when entering the foreign market, legal aspects of export business are just some of the challenges to which the representatives of the academic community will offer answers. It is especially important to point out that the academy will have an international character because, in addition to professors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, professors from Serbia will also participate. The partners of this project are companies from the field of wood processing, eight of them.
The modernly equipped Training Center of the EU ProLocal Academy was opened by the cutting of the ribbon. Alaudin Brkić and Mr. Safet Škaljić, director of Inter-com doo Zenica.
