13/12/2018 MF AND CIP UNZE: STUDY VISIT TO FACTORIES IN PESAR

On the second day of the visit to Italy, a full-day visit to the BIESSE and CMT Orange Tools factories was organized for the MF and PtF students. First, it is in the educational hall of the BIESSE company (www.biesse.com) held a lecture about the company, after which the students were divided into several groups to tour all the halls with the hosts and see the process of how CNC machines for processing wood, glass, plastic and light metals are made. Processes from the creation of the simplest machines for processing by bending and drilling to modern five-axis milling machines, transfer lines and flexible production systems are shown. This was followed by lectures on the following topics: B-solid and B-cabinet for design and production planning (CAD-CAP - Eng. Lorenzo Perlini), B-parts (modern approaches to machine maintenance - Eng. Brigita Esposto), production management (software package – SOPHIE – Eng. Fiorini Igor). In the afternoon, a practical training and presentation of laser bending and processing procedures on multi-axis machining centers was held (led by Ing. Toti Marco) in the showroom of the BIESSE company, which covers more than 10,000 m². With representatives of the companies BIESSE and Toptech, further cooperation with UNZE was discussed, and the representatives of UNZE, director of CIP, prof. Petković and Dean Hadžikadunić presented the current state of preparation for the construction of the BH Biesse Service training center and showroom on the UNZE campus, as well as the preparations for the start of the DTD studies at the MF UNZE. In addition to the already mentioned lecturers from the Biesse company, an immeasurable contribution to this visit was made by the engineering team of Biesse from the ex-YU area led by Edin Avdić and Željko Studen. After this almost full-day visit to the BIESSE company, a visit to the CMT Tools company took place, where the hosts presented how HSS and multi-cutting abrasive tools for processing wood and light metals are made.
