15TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM "METAL AND NON-METALLIC MATERIALS - PRODUCTION, PROPERTIES, APPLICATION" - MNM 2025

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the 15th International Symposium “Metallic and Non-Metallic Materials – Production, Properties, Applications” – MNM 2025 will be held in Zenica, which this year will once again bring together numerous domestic and foreign experts, researchers and industry representatives. The Symposium will be attended by authors from France, Turkey, Iran, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Australia, giving the event a truly international character. The symposium is jointly organized by University of Zenica – Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Yeditepe University Istanbul and Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers of Turkey UCTEA. The sponsors of this year's Symposium are ArcelorMittal Zenica and BH Telecom. A total of 53 scientific and professional papers will be presented during the program, on which more than 200 authors worked, which testifies to the broad interest and significant involvement of the academic and professional community. The thematic framework of the Symposium covers a wide range of current areas: metallic and non-metallic materials, metallurgy, organic and inorganic chemistry, occupational safety and environmental protection, energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, ecological engineering and sustainable development.

Over the past three decades, the Symposium "Metallic and Non-Metallic Materials - Production, Properties, Applications", which has been held since 1996, has grown into one of the key platforms for knowledge exchange and promotion of research results in a broader regional context. This year's symposium is particularly valuable due to the plenary lectures by distinguished experts from abroad, including:

• Erman Car, President of the Istanbul Branch of the Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers of Turkey (UCTEA),
• Celine Fontaine and Gwendoline Lafaye, Department of Chemistry, University of Poitiers, France,
• Miroslav Sokić, Institute for Technology of Nuclear and Other Mineral Raw Materials; Belgrade, Serbia.

The symposium is being held at the Zenica hotel. The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday 24.04.2025. year starting at 10:00 a.m..
