28.12.2015. TEŠANJ: MF UNZE: NEW YEAR'S ALUMNI MEETING

As in 2014, the Alumni meeting of various generations of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica was organized in 2015. The host of this year's meeting of engineers, masters and doctors who obtained their degrees at the Ministry of Education was the Municipality of Tešanj in cooperation with the business systems MANN-Hummel, BEM and Pobjeda.

After the singing of the national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the alumni and the hosts were greeted by the Dean of the MF UNZE, Assoc. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić, who presented the current most important determinants of the work of the MF. On behalf of the Municipality of Tešanj, the Mayor of the Municipality, mr. Suad Huskić, who presented the most important statistical data related to this municipality, where a large number of MF alumni work, as well as other UNZE faculties. In the continuation of the celebratory session of the alumni, of which there were more than a hundred, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković (Director of CIP UNZE) spoke to those present about the importance of the Alumni Network, the development of UNZE (Vice-Rector, Dr. Malik Čabaravdić) and the role and importance of the education of mechanical engineers (Prof. - Dr. Safet Brdarević). Mr. Mahmut Galijašević, director of the factory in Tešnje.

After the meaningful work part, the alumni got together in a pleasant atmosphere with inevitable reminders of their student days, as well as discussions about the possibilities of business-technical and other cooperation with the companies where the alumni work today. At the end, an invitation to alumni was announced for registration on the new database and software, which will be in operation at the beginning of 2016, and the appointment of representatives of different generations who will work on animating the alumni of MF UNZE.

Finally, in addition to all the mentioned persons who participated in the implementation of the Alumni meeting of the MF UNZE, it is necessary to emphasize the great effort put in by the alumni Edin Garić and Adnan Lihić and Lamija Subašić on behalf of the CIP UNZE in the organization on behalf of the host.
