22.11.2019. CIP UNZE: PARTICIPATION IN THE ROUND TABLE AT PALA
As part of the celebration of the 67th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics of the University of East Sarajevo, the director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, participated in the work of the Round Table: Challenges of the educational process in the context of the development of the Industry 4.0 concept. The round table was moderated by the dean of EF UIS, Prof. Dr. Radomir Božić, who emphasized the importance of the transformation of the NPP, both technical and economic faculties, in order to meet the demands of the Industry 4.0 concept. Although the majority of participants were of the opinion that BIH does not have the economy for the concept of Industry 4.0. that turned out to be incorrect because education and its results are a global thing and numerous business systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina work, live and do business in this concept (e.g. Kakanj-Heidelberg cement factory, Mann-Humel, Pobjeda, BME, Prvent, etc.). As one of the speakers of the round table, Prof. Petković called on the professors, especially the faculties of economics, to "live more in real practice and less in PP presentations and case-studies from Mexico, Canada or the USA", to get as close as possible both in teaching and in work. dual study model, to work on technological transfer and cooperate with companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina because every "environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a reflection of its university and faculties that work in that region". He particularly emphasized the importance of mobility and internationalization of staff and students, as this is the only way to follow modern business trends, including the concept of Industry 4.0.
