The 10th scientific-professional conference "Quality 2017" was held

From May 17 to 20, 2017, the jubilee 10th scientific-professional meeting with international participation "Quality 2017" was held in Neum:

The gathering started exactly eighteen years ago in Zenica, in 1999 to be exact. The first three gatherings were held in Zenica, the city of the organizers, the fourth in Fojnica and here is the sixth time in Neum. Therefore, the meeting is held biennially. By holding these gatherings, a tradition was created that certainly contributes to the affirmation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the University of Zenica, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The organizers of the scientific and professional gathering are the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica, the Department of Quality Management and Metrology in Erlangen and the Association for Quality in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The scientific-expert meeting was created as a result of the efforts of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to facilitate the acceptance and development of the approach to quality as the basis of successful performance on the market and as a condition for the international integration of BiH in all elements of reproduction and quality as an overall philosophy of life.

The aim of the meeting is to bring together people who deal with different aspects of quality, exchange experiences, communicate research results, define problems and find solutions on a micro and macro scale.

This year, the scientific committee of the conference accepted 79 papers from 205 authors and co-authors from 10 European countries (BiH, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Hungary and Turkey).

Due to being prevented by other commitments from attending the meeting, the participants were greeted and wished successful work:

• sc. Nermin Đindić, Minister of Energy and Industry of FBiH,
• Elvira Dilberović, Minister of Education and Science of FBiH,
• Mensur Sinanović, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Zenica-Doboj Canton,
• Zlatko Jelić, Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

The introductory presentation was given by prof. Ph.D. Adam Hamrol (Poland) and Enes Dedić (BiH). The meeting continued with its work according to the planned program of the meeting in two sections.
