23.03.2018. CIP AND MF UNZE: RIPEUD PROJECT - VISIT TO DRVOART - BELGRADE

Within the framework of the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia, the director of CIP UNZE and the head of the project Prof. Dr. Darko Petković visited the DRVOART Technical School in Belgrade (www.drvoart.edu.rs). In a conversation with the director, Ph.D. Zorica Đoković and the leader of the practical classes of students Mr. Milan Nikolić prof. Petković is familiar with this respectable high school, which can be a model for the organization of similar high schools in the region of central Bosnia, which is one of the leaders in the wood processing sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prof. Petković presented the state of activities on the development of the study department Design and Technology in Wood Processing (DTD) at the MF UNZE and a picture of the state of the wood processing sector in the Central Bosnia and ZDK region. During a tour of one of the oldest school buildings in Serbia, Prof. Petković had the opportunity to get acquainted with the way of educating students in this artistic and technical field, the way of conducting practical classes and especially with the participation of students in international competitions, fairs, etc. Only a small part of the exhibits that are displayed in the school depot undoubtedly confirms that the region of central Bosnia must also work on the development of a similar school that will be the best preparation of young people for future studies at the MF UNZE - Department of Design and Technologies in Woodworking.
