05.06.2018. MF UNZE: PRACTICAL TEACHING FOR STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MAINTENANCE IN MHE VITEZ I CHAJDRAŠ

As part of the subject of the Department of Maintenance, the third-year students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UNZE had on 06.06.2018. another interesting day in the business environment. Namely, as part of the visit to the mini-hydroelectric power plants (MHP) in Čajdraš and Vitez, in addition to the explanation of the construction and operation of these MHPs, the students also performed vibration measurements on the bearings of the turbine-generator system, which practically verified the knowledge gained from theory and exercises in the Laboratory for Technical diagnosis of MF UNZE. In addition, there was a discussion about the implementation of methods of defecting technical systems, repair technologies and the application of technical diagnostic methods in repair planning. The Čajdraš HPP was particularly interesting to the students because it was built on the city water supply system of the city of Zenica, and the Vitez HPP because it is closely connected to the Business Zone PC 96 I Aqua-park Vitez.
