14.09.2018. MF UNZE: PROMOTION OF DTD STUDIES IN THE COMPANY MS WOOD FOJNICA
As part of preparations for the organization of the DTD study (Dizajn i Technology in Dwood processing) and surveys of companies for training seminars as part of the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia, the head of the RIPEUD project Prof. Dr. Darko Petković held a meeting at the MS WOOD company in Fojnica with the executive director for human resources ( HRM) Mr. Mirsadom Softić. Mr. Softić presented the current moment of the company with special reference to HRM and the ways in which this company develops and builds its resources. Prof. Petković presented the level achieved in the implementation of the procedure for the establishment of the DTD department at the MF UNZE and announced the start of training seminars through the EU ProLocal program project - GIZ RIPEUD. He emphasized that the topics for the seminars are not typical for the technical staff who will be the dominant participants in the seminars and training. To that end, the topics will be as practical as possible and useful for technical staff in woodworking companies in the region (business correspondence in English, appearances at fairs and arrangement of stands, materials, etc., creation of a technical dictionary in woodworking, etc.). Also, listeners will have a certain number of topics from the development of contemporary design and drawing. It was underlined that a number of different topics will be covered at each seminar in order to ensure the greatest interest of companies and the inclusion of different profiles of listeners. The interlocutors agreed that although enrollment in the DTD study is much delayed, there is a belief that it will attract personnel from factories who can follow this study through the form of lifelong learning, which the MS WOOD company emphasizes to its staff as one of the most important things they should practice in their working career.
