PUBLIC LECTURE IN THE READING ROOM OF THE FACULTY OF LAW, UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA

Organized by the University Library of the University of Zenica, a public lecture "Modern Library Search Services" was held on Thursday, November 22, in the reading room of the Faculty of Law. Lecturer Aras Borić, graduate comparativist and graduate librarian, head of the University Library, spoke about the procedures for bibliographic processing of library materials and the way to use modern electronic library catalogs, with special reference to COBISS (Co-operative Online Bibliographic System and Services), i.e. Mutual online bibliographic system and service. In the second part of the lecture, Jasmina Huskanović, senior librarian and head of the Faculty of Law library, spoke about the way to search certain databases such as "Hrčko" and "Scindex". The aim of the lecture was to expand the library information literacy of University of Zenica students and train them to independently search modern library catalogs, especially the BiH COBISS, which includes the University Library of the University of Zenica.
