22.02.2019. CIP AND MF UNZE: VISIT TO COMPANIES OF THE ROMANIA REGION (GIZ-DTD_EU PRO-LOCAL)

In the dissemination of the results of the project Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of woodworking in Central Bosnia (giz-dtd_EU pro-local), and the presentation of the services of partners in the project of the LIND laboratory in the Zenica Business Zone (testing and attestation of furniture, windows and doors), head of the project team Prof. Dr. Darko Petković visited several companies in the Romanian region. Certainly the most important is the visit to the company Podromanija Sokolac, which produces windows, doors, shutters and other elements of building joinery, a large part of which is exported.

Prof. Petković presented the new DTD study at MF UNZE, MF and CIP UNZE, as well as IDEA_lab, IT design Lab and FabLab-laboratory, and especially the services of the LIND laboratory, which are important for this company. A short English dictionary for woodworkers was also presented. In addition to this company in Sokolac, the company Hamdo-Group, which produces wooden houses, and the company Kvadrat in Pale were also visited. At the end of the tour of the companies of this region, a conversation was held with the dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Radomir Božić, with whom Prof. Petković discussed the importance of greater finalization of wood products, the development of companies that can help to achieve a higher level of product finalization according to companies in FBiH, the role EF can play in this process, the development of business zones and incubators in them, which can be generators of the development of these companies.
