AT THE FACULTY OF METALLURGY - TECHNOLOGY, A COMPETITION FOR HIGH SCHOOL SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC TOPICS WAS HELD

As part of the activities of the University of Zenica called "Be a student for a day", a competition of high school students in the presentation of scientific topics was held yesterday at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology. One of the goals of the mentioned competition was to point out the fact that the quality of the presentation is a significant factor that helps to go one step further towards improving one's own skills. Regardless of whether we are talking about activities in the course of education or professional tasks, young people are very often faced with the obligation to present a seminar paper, idea, plan, etc., while it must be borne in mind that a quality presentation greatly facilitates communication and helps to better argue the idea that is to be conveyed through the presentation.

The students of the First High School, Second High School, Medical School, High Technical School and Catholic School Center "St. Paul" took part in the competition.

Special gifts and cash prizes were provided for the students whose presentations were rated as the best. The first place was won by the student of the First Gymnasium, Hana Muslić. The second place was won by a student of the Technical High School, Amsal Škaljo, and the third place was won by Ajdin Imamović, a student of the Medical School.

During the day, the students had the opportunity to visit the classrooms and laboratories of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, and to attend the exercises prepared for them by the students and teachers of this faculty.

The organization of the competition and socializing with students of the final grades of secondary schools was financially supported by the company "Pero" doo Zenica and the "Society of Physicists in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina", and we hereby sincerely thank them.
