HELD BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAM BIP – VIENNA (AUSTRIA)
In the period from 16 to 21.02.2025. the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "HOW TO SETUP LIVING LABS FOR SMART COMMUNITIES" was held at the University for Continuing Education Krems in Vienna, in which representatives of the University of Zenica also participated: Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research of the University of Zenica and Assistant Narcisa Hadžajlić from the Polytechnic Faculty. The programme is intended for training in establishing a network of "smart community living labs", and learning from the experiences of partners' implementation.
Representatives of universities also participated in the program: University for Continuing Education Krems (Austria), Momentum (Ireland), Bar Ilan University, Cnam (France), Ulm University (Germany), CEU Universidad San Pablo (Spain), Alba Iulia University (Romania), UCM Trnave (Slovakia), Andrassy University Budapest (Hungary), etc.
As part of the program, a visit to the Living Lab Pilot Factory at TU WIEN (Technologie zentrum Seestadt) was organized, which presented areas of development related to modern technologies and the needs of the university, business and public sectors.
Within the framework of several days of activities, all participants developed 'living labs' concepts through working groups and carried out exchanges of ideas and presentations of the conceived approaches in interactive processes.
Also, possible funding opportunities were presented through various European mobility programs and projects: Horizon Europe, Erasmus, COST, FWF Weave, ERA-NET HERA, Interreg.
On this occasion, possible areas of action and cooperation were also discussed, as well as the possibility of connecting through research and international programs with representatives of institutions participating in the program.
