Representatives of the University of Zenica participated in the International Week of Tallinn Health Care College

Representatives of the University of Zenica were in Tallinn (Estonia), where the International Week was held at Tallinn Health Care College from November 4 to 8, 2019. This year's theme is "The role of ethics in a digital world - how to manage education in healthcare and research?"

Representatives of universities from France, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, and Finland participated in this International Week. Slovakia, Jordan, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The University of Zenica was represented by: Prof. Dr.Sc. Malik Čabaravdić, vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance, Prof. Ph.D. Harun Hodžić, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, assistant professor, Ph.D. Adnan Mujezinovć, vice dean for teaching and student affairs of the Faculty of Medicine, senior assistant Mirza Oruč, ECTS coordinator of the University of Zenica, and Amra Muslić - Halilović, prof. coordinator for international cooperation and Derviša Zahirović, MA, expert associate for information.

On the first day of the working week, presentations of all participating universities were held, as well as a food festival. The University of Zenica, and especially the Faculty of Medicine, has been cooperating with Tallinn Health Care College for several years, and teachers and students of our University have had the opportunity to stay in Tallinn before.

Also, on the first day of the stay, a tour of all departments of Tallinn Health Care College, laboratories, reading rooms and training centers was organized.

During their stay, representatives of the University of Zenica had the opportunity to participate in various lectures and workshops, visit the most modern hospitals in Tallinn, as well as the oldest pharmacy in Europe.

Representatives of the University of Zenica, in conversation with colleagues from other universities, created new opportunities and possible cooperation through participation in various joint projects, and the primary goal was to create new opportunities for student exchange and the development of inter-university and international cooperation.
