CEREMONY MARKED THE BEGINNING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR

Today, the University of Zenica officially marked the beginning of the new academic year. On that occasion, Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jusuf Duraković, Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Ph.D. Enes Bikić, vice rector for teaching and student affairs and Prof. Ph.D. Spahija Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, visited the faculties of the University of Zenica and welcomed the freshmen.

"You are part of the academic community from today. You came here because you recognized that the University of Zenica can provide you with knowledge that you will use in your future life. You chose to study at the University of Zenica, and I believe that you chose what you love and that you did not make a mistake. I believe that you have chosen a profession from which you will be able to make a living, but also to contribute to the development of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to studying with teachers who will provide you with adequate knowledge, skills and competences, you can also engage in other activities that are available to you at the University of Zenica," said Prof. Dr.Sc. Jusuf Druaković.

"I am convinced that you will use every moment, and you should, in order to get the necessary knowledge. It should be said that universities and schools are not only places where workers are created. The university in particular is not like that, because the university is a place where a person is created in particular. In this sense, I believe that you will use all the capacities of the University of Zenica." Today, the Minister pointed out that the complete adaptation of the three faculty buildings will soon begin, and that the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry will continue to provide full support to the work of the University of Zenica in creating more better conditions for studying.
