CEREMONY MARKED THE BEGINNING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR

Formal reception for first-year students of the University of Zenica

Today, the start of the academic year at the University of Zenica was marked with a reception for freshmen.

Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica, prof.sr.sc. Spahija Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Mr. Mirza Ganić, Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, accompanied by the vice-chancellor of the University of Zenica, visited the faculties of the University of Zenica and welcomed the University of Zenica in appropriate speeches.

Mr. Mirza Ganić, Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, in his address to the students, pointed out that the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton provides support to the University of Zenica, and this year provided scholarships for all students who meet the formal requirements, and also emphasized the importance of higher education at the future of young people.

The students at the faculties were also addressed by Prof. Ph.D. Spahija Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and pointed out that the Ministry, by providing support to the University in the continuation of the accreditation of study programs and by referring studies on the establishment of new ones to the Government, will participate in creating even better conditions for studying at the University of Zenica.

Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica, in his today's address pointed out that the University of Zenica continuously works to create optimal conditions for studying, and that all infrastructural and human resources are used, so that students receive the best possible education.
