The 11th scientific and professional meeting "Quality 2019" was held

In the period from June 14 to 16, 2019, the 11th scientific-professional meeting "Quality 2019" was held at the Sunce Hotel in Neum, organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica. The co-organizers of the meeting are the Department of Quality Management and Metrology of the University of Erlangen, the Association for Quality in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Institute for Economic Engineering from Zenica.

Those present at the opening of the meeting were addressed by: prof. emeritus dr. Safet Brdarević in front of the Scientific Committee of the Assembly, Prof. Ph.D. Fuad Haždikadunić, dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, assistant professor Ph.D. Mirolav Drljača in front of the Association of Quality Managers of Croatia, Admir Hodžić in front of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and prof. Ph.D. Spahija Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports in the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton. Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Spahija Kozlić, in his own name and on behalf of the Prime Minister and the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, expressed his support for the organization and holding of the Gathering, and wished for successful work in the two days during which the works were presented.

More than 100 papers were submitted for this year's Meeting, of which 86 papers were accepted for printing in the Proceedings, which has about 550 pages. 234 authors and co-authors appear on these papers, which indicates teamwork during their writing. This number of works is about 10% higher than at the previous Meeting held in 2017.

The structure of papers is about 55% from the Faculty and scientific research institutions, and the rest is from the economy, although the papers written by authors from the Faculty are mostly directly related to the economy.

We remind you that the first QUALITY 99 meeting was held exactly 20 years ago at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica.
