The fourth regular session of the Rectors' Assembly/Rector's Conference of BIH was held
Today, the fourth regular session of the Rectors' Assembly/Rector's Conference of BiH was held, which was chaired by the Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr.Sc. Damir Kukić
Rectors of public universities and universities reviewed information on the realization of classes at public universities and universities. It was concluded that teaching was successfully carried out in a combined model adapted to pandemic conditions. Thus, public higher education institutions fulfilled their primary tasks and obligations arising from their mission and strategic goals.
The Rectors' Assembly/Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina considered the information on the process of institutional accreditation and accreditation of study programs. The presentation on accreditation was held by the director of the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH, prof. Ph.D. sc. Enes Hasic.
Rectors of public universities expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to reduce funds for science in higher education. The rectors sent a request to the Government of F/BiH for an increase in funds for science, considering that it is unfair and harmful to stop research and development in times of crisis because these are the factors that raise and improve every society.
At today's session, the new rector of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković was appointed president of RZ/K BiH.
In addition, the conclusions related to amendments to the Income Tax Law of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed today.
