The second Scientific Conference "Property relations and state property in Bosnia and Herzegovina" was held.
Yesterday, the second Scientific Conference "Property Law Relations and State Property in Bosnia and Herzegovina" was successfully held in the City Hall of Sarajevo, organized by the University of Zenica, the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica and the City of Sarajevo. The following speakers addressed: dr. SC Benjamina Karić, Mayor of the City of Sarajevo, prof. Ph.D. SC Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica and prof. Ph.D. sc Larisa Velić, dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Zenica.
In the framework of the first session of the "Social-Historical Aspects" Conference, the speakers were: academician Slavo Kukić, prof. Ph.D. sc Edin Mutapčić, prof. Ph.D. sc Ajdin Huseinspahić and prof. Ph.D. sc Sead Turčalo.
The lecturers at the second session entitled "Property-legal aspects" were: prof. Ph.D. sc Lada Sadiković, Ismet Velić, deputy attorney general of Bosnia and Herzegovina and prof. Ph.D. SC Larisa Velić.
The conclusions of the Conference are:
- Bosnia and Herzegovina needs a law on state property, a law on general and public goods and a law on registration of state property.
- Competent institutions should use all legal mechanisms in order to protect state property.
- Competent authorities should initiate the involvement of the international community in solving property law and state property issues.
